Export of Russian IT solutions: entry into the markets of friendly countries. Cooperation with Azerbaijan and Turkey.

On February 19, 2025, the Russian Business Guide and the Honorary Representative of Azerbaijan to the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russia-Turkey Dialogue and the Russia-Azerbaijan Dialogue associations, organized a round table to discuss the issues of promoting Russian IT solutions in other countries. Particular attention was paid to business dialogue with Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The meeting was moderated by Maria Suvorovskaya, Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Business Guide magazine and Honorary Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Azerbaijan.

Vladimir Maslov, Director of the Digital Development Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made the opening speech, emphasizing the importance of new opportunities for domestic high-tech companies in the markets of friendly countries. He noted that the state supports Russia's export of IT services and products.

Aleksandr Okunev, Deputy Director General of the Skolkovo Foundation, Director of Interaction with Neighboring Countries and Government Authorities, spoke about the Interstate Program for Innovative Cooperation of the CIS Member States until 2030 and interaction with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and regional chambers.

Dmitry Alekseev, Digital Attaché of the Russian Trade Mission to Azerbaijan, emphasized the need to expand the export of high-tech products of Russian companies to world markets. He noted that Azerbaijan is a promising country for Russian business.

Arsen Ayupov, President of the Russian-Turkish Dialogue Association, listed successful examples of Russian IT companies entering the Turkish market: “Small and medium-sized enterprises are actively developing the territory of Turkey, despite tough competition, Russian companies are showing confident growth. It is important to take into account intercultural features in this dialogue.”

During the meeting, ICONIC CEO and Russia-Turkey Dialogue Association Board Member Yasin Taha Celiloğlu brought up the issue of cloud solution services export and spoke about Russia-Turkey joint ventures in the field of information technologies and what Russian companies should pay attention to when entering the Turkish market.
