MOSCOW

Turkish entrepreneur working in Russia, Yasin Taha Celiloğlu, was awarded for Leadership in Digital Development at the Russian Business Guide "Person of the Year 2024" award ceremony. "It is a great honor for me to receive such an award in Russia," said Yasin Taha Celiloğlu, a member of the Moscow Russian-Turkish Businessmen Association RTIB, speaking to Dikgazete.

Celiloğlu stated: "In terms of the industry, the Russian market is very important for us. We aim to increase our business activities here. For us, gaining the trust of our clients is more important. Our goal is to contribute to Russian-Turkish trade and economic cooperation," he said.

He also mentioned that it is a great honor to receive this award from Russia. "It is a great honor for me to receive the "Leadership in Digital Development" award from the **Russian Business Guide "Person of the Year 2024"! I am so touched. This award is for all of us as a company. It means that we are achieving success and will continue to do so. Thank you to all our friends as a company!" he expressed.
By the way, this year, the international business magazine Russian Business Guide Media ranked 6th in the December edition. The "Person of the Year 2024" award ceremony took place on May 31, 2024, in Moscow at the Congress Center of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The joint venture of the IT systems integrator and cloud operator vMind was awarded the "Leadership in Digital Development" prize.

The CEO of the company, Yasin Taha Celiloğlu, who stands out among the candidates defined by decommunization and developed and integrated technological systems, was awarded by the Director of Digital Development of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vladimir Andreevich Maslov.

Turkish businessman Celiloğlu, who received the award, provided the following information about the company:

"The joint venture vMind operates as a system integrator, created with Turkish-Russian partners and carrying out international projects. Today, the company has three main areas of activity: providing engineering services through the integration of global brands such as Cisco, Dell, Huawei, Fortinet, and HPE locally; offering and distributing cloud services through data centers operating in Turkey and Russia; and developing facial recognition and material identification systems using Facemetric, a system with which the company partners for integration in factories with large production lines. The company has ranked first in cloud computing since 2018 in the "IT 500" competition and holds numerous national and international certifications."

Speaking about the award, Celiloğlu said: "Over the past 3 years, we as a company have gained good momentum. Today, we have completed projects that are successfully being implemented in Russia, Turkey, and CIS countries, and they are enhancing our reputation. The quality of our work has started to distinguish us from competing firms. We can easily understand this from the feedback. We are only at the beginning of our journey, and we still have a long way to go. I am deeply grateful to all our stakeholders, business partners, and colleagues."

The award ceremony at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathered more than 50 nominees, and the winners were presented with commemorative plaques and certificates. The event was attended by representatives of government authorities, ambassadors from friendly countries, heads of industry associations and regional chambers of commerce, trade representatives, experts, and public figures.
